Welcome to Bird In Bush Primary

#exceptionaleveryday

We want to welcome all visitors to our new school, Bird in Bush Primary School, London, SE15.

Our school is Southwark’s newest primary school offer to its community and we are extremely proud of the investment that has been undertaken. We have an exceptional staff team who are hugely experienced in meeting the needs of our diverse inner London community. It is no surprise therefore that the school will be Southwark’s Racially Literate Hub 2023-2024, an offer made to all schools seeking to broaden their provision for their pupils. We are extremely proud of this recognition alongside being Southwark’s flagship school for the provision of school food as well as in recognition of our free holiday club which is attended by over 250 children every holiday.

The school offers an open door invitation for prospective visitors to come and see for themselves our exceptional every day offer to our pupils. We accept we do not always get it right but we are happy to showcase how we all strive every day to be as exceptional as we can in terms of the quality of education experience at the school. Please contact the school office at office@birdinbush.southwark.sch.uk or drop in to make an appointment to visit.

At the heart of our welcome is aligning aspirations with our school vision and ethos – as shared below. Bird in Bush School is courageous in its dedication to provide our pupils with the best possible education and an education that has integrity at its heart and which we will achieve with the resilience expected of our staff and pupils alike.

Best wishes

James Robinson

Headteacher, Bird in Bush School
